• Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame ‘Lei of Stars’ Concert – The Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame will honor its 2007 inductees – Bill Kaiwa, Jesse Kalima, Eddie Kamae, Don McDiarmid Sr., Peter Moon, Marlene Sai, and John Pi'ilani Watkins at the Hawaii Theatre on Saturday, April 26th at 7:00 p.m.

I was informed early this morning of the passing of Aunty Nona Beamer. The Honolulu Advertiser carries the information of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Keola, Kapono and the rest of their ‘ohana at this time.

• ‘Opihi Pickers, Raiatea Helm and Makaha Sons News from KGMB Sunrise – The ‘Opihi Pickers are in the process of doing their "Last Concerts" together. Raiatea Helm is getting ready to hit the road. Hoku Zuttermeister is on the road in California with Jerry Santos and Barry Kimokeo. Makaha Sons are off to Nevada this weekend

• OHA radio show hits the road for Merrie Monarch – Starting today, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs' radio show, Na 'Öiwi 'Ölino, begins a three-day run from Hilo in celebration of the 45th Annual Merrie Monarch Festival.
• Hapa to give April 19 concert on Maui – Hapa will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 19 at Castle Theater of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center as part of the ongoing Ho'onanea Series.
